Cunard has always been renowned for luxury, excellence and impeccable service and is still one of the ultimate travel experiences and has the world's youngest fleet of ships at sea with three magnificent Cunard Queens.

2015 marked the 175th anniversary of its first ship, Britannia, setting sail in July 1840. Britannia inaugurated the first-ever regularly-scheduled service across the Atlantic and every year since then Cunard ships have crossed and re-crossed the Atlantic, in peace and war, without fail.

Queen Elizabeth, christened by HRM Queen Elizabeth II on the 11th October 2010 in Southampton, is Cunard Line's newest 92,000-ton liner built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri at an all-in cost of approximately £300 million. A sister ship to Queen Victoria but very much with her own personality has a capacity of 2,090 guests. As with Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, accommodation is split into Queens Grill, Princess Grill and Britannia.

In 2014 the Queen Elizabeth received a Multi-Million Pound Refit which saw the creation of nine new single staterooms consisting of eight Ocean View rooms and one Inside, each offer spacious and comfortable accommodation for the single traveller and boast single beds with a generous width of 120cm. The Ocean View rooms benefit from especially large windows giving plenty of natural daylight and excellent views. The rooms are centrally located midships on Deck 2 and are amongst the very best located staterooms on Queen Elizabeth, being so close to the social hub of the ship including the Royal Court Theatre and the Queens Room.

The White Star Service starts from the moment you embark the ship and are greeted by white gloved staff to the award winning cuisine, grand ballrooms with the largest dance floors at sea, dazzling concerts and stage shows to the great British tradition of afternoon tea.

Dining
More choice than ever before. As with her sister ships, Queen Elizabeth has the famed Queens Grill, Princess Grill and Britannia dining rooms. As well as the new Britannia Club offering single seating dining, we also have The Verandah. This is an alternative restaurant themed on the original Verandah Grill restaurant on Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth. It offers the absolute best in fine French cuisine.

With many guests today seeking more alternative dining options, three alternative dining venues have been added in the evening in the Lido Restaurant. You have the Aztec (fine Mexican), Jasmine (beautiful Asian food) and Asado (an Argentinian meat experience). All of these are very contemporary and offer terrific variety.

Entertainment
The Theatre on board Queen Elizabeth is second to none lead by the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Company, comprising 21 people who provide the very best in West End production shows as well as featuring Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Neil Simon plays and a range of other very contemporary entertainment.

Sports
Up top, under a beautiful canvas canopy, we hark back to days of the 20's and 30's with the Cunard Sports Deck. An English Garden backdrop provides passengers the opportunity to play Bowls, Croquet and Paddle Tennis in a beautiful area.

Bars
We have the signature Commodore Club, Carinthia Cafe, Midships Bar, The Yacht Club and of course the Golden Lion Pub.

Other Features
The Garden Lounge is a beautiful new room modelled on Kew Gardens with a number of different activities including Supper Clubs, Champagne Tea Afternoons and other events. The double height Library with spiral wooden staircase boasts over 6,000 books. The Royal Arcade shops feature new relationships with Fortnum and Mason, Hackett, Penhaligans and Harris Tweed. Plus, you have a new Clarendon Fine Art Gallery offering the best of contemporary art, including original and signed prints by Rolf Harris. The famous Queens Room simply offers the best dancing experience at sea - be they traditional dancers or Strictly Come Dancing fans.
