Cunard | Queen Mary 2 | Cruises from Southampton

With over 165 years of maritime heritage - the name Cunard has always been renowned for luxury, excellence and impeccable service and is still one of the ultimate travel experiences.

Cunard now has the world's youngest fleet of ships at sea with three magnificent Cunard Queens.

The line continues to celebrate its golden heritage while creating new innovations. Quintessentially British, impeccable service and attention to detail are the hallmarks of a Cunard voyage.

Fresh from refit at the Blohm & Voss Shipyard in Hamburg, during November & December 2011, Queen Mary 2 has been given a face lift in preparation for her eighth birthday in January 2012.

Work undertaken included new carpets, curtains, bedcovers and linens in all staterooms, plus further refurbishment to the Canyon Ranch SpaClub®, the Queens Grill and Princess Grill Restaurants, the Commodore Club, the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar, Sir Samuel’s and the Play Zone / Kids’ Zone.

The popular Golden Lion Pub has been completely redesigned.
