Fresh from refit at
the Blohm & Voss Shipyard in Hamburg, during November &
December 2011, Queen Mary 2 has been given a face lift in
preparation for her eighth birthday in January 2012.
Work undertaken included new carpets, curtains, bedcovers and
linens in all staterooms, plus further refurbishment to the
Canyon Ranch SpaClub®, the Queens Grill and Princess Grill
Restaurants, the Commodore Club, the Veuve Clicquot Champagne
Bar, Sir Samuel’s and the Play Zone / Kids’ Zone.
The popular Golden Lion Pub has been completely redesigned.
