P&O Cruises have confirmed
that two ships will sail roundtrip from Southampton the whole year-round in 2012.
The family friendly mid-sized Oceana and the classically styled Oriana, (recently
announced as a child-free ship) will both offer a range of cruises from 02 to 35
nights duration.
Princess Cruises have two ships
sailing from Southampton in 2012. The newly refurbished Grand Princess
will be sailing mainly to the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands while the
Caribbean Princess will sail around the British Isles, Norway and Baltic.
British favourites, Fred Olsen
Cruises and Saga Cruises are offering traditional cruising aboard their
smaller ships to a whole host of destinations.
Royal
Caribbean will offer roundtrip cruises from Southampton until November 2012
aboard Independence of the Seas sailing to the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.
Cunard, who now have the
youngest fleet of ships at sea will sail all three Queens out of Southampton
with a selection of roundtrip voyages from Southampton.
Celebrity Cruises return with
their third season out of Southampton with the Celebrity Eclipse. Plus from September,
the Celebrity Constellation will also cruise from Southampton for a series of
wine and food themed cruises to the classic wine countries of France, Spain &
Portugal.
Italian owned cruises
line, MSC Cruises return to Southampton again in 2012 offering cruises aboard
MSC Opera sailing to the Baltic, Norway and Europe.
