How to get to the
Southampton
Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal
By Road:
Exit the M3 at Junction 14 and join
the M27 for Poole.
Exit the M27 at junction 3 and join the M271, heading towards Totton.
At the roundabout at the end of the M271 take the exit towards
Southampton
(A3024 - Mountbatten Way).
Take the A3024 on to the West Quay Road until you get to Dock Gate
04.
By Rail:
Direct train services link
Southampton with many parts of the UK. South West Trains operates a
15-minute interval daytime fast service between London Waterloo and
Southampton Central. Longer distance services provide direct links
with Bristol, South Wales, the Midlands, the North and Scotland.
Southampton Central is 1 mile away from the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal.
The approximate journey time from London Waterloo is 1 hour and 30

By Coach:
National Express Coach services
travel to Southampton from London Victoria Coach Station.
Approximate travel time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

By Air:
Southampton International Airport
is situated on the outskirts of the city and is convenient for the
M27 and M3. The airport has its own railway station Southampton
Parkway which is on the main London line and 5 trains an hour leave
for Southampton Central station in the peak part of the day with a
journey time of as little as 7 minutes.. The airport services UK and
major European destinations.
By Sea:
Cross channel ferry services by
Brittany Ferries and LD Lines operate out of the nearby port of Portsmouth (21
miles) offering fast and regular crossings to the near continent. P&O Ferries
run from Portsmouth to Bilbao and on summer Sundays Condor Ferries run a fast
service from Portsmouth to Cherbourg.
Red Funnel Ferries provide a regular fast and efficient service from Town Quay
to Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
Hythe Ferry
The Hythe - Southampton Ferry operates a half hourly ferry service between Town
Quay, Southampton and Hythe Pier, passing by Ocean Terminal (home of the QE2)
and linking with comprehensive bus services on both sides of Southampton Water.
